Builds AI-powered prediction products to solve customer’s challenges like forecasting demand and anticipating customer behavior. The goal of these products is to provide actionable insights within weeks.
My Work
I was one of the UX Designer in the team of four designers. I worked on two major projects -
Redesigned major components on WQP website to reduce exit rate.
Designed user flow, screens and style guide for proprietary software called “Carina”.
Website Redesign
The goal was to increase visitors count that reach “Contact Us” or “Request a Demo” form on company’s website.
I started by understanding visitor behavior using data from Google Analytics and realized exit rate was high on “Products” and “Technology” page which had lot of content explaining products. The page on left is what was shown on website before re-design.
Introduced collapsible tables to provide inter-related information for all user groups. User can click a cell to read more information and avoid getting distracted with other information that may not be related.
Redesigned grids to be consistent across different pages to keep content organized. The grid helped to align elements on the page and keep it clean. Worked with business to revise content with compelling language without getting technical.
Carina
Carina is one of the product offered by WQP to conduct predictions in terms of units, discount, revenue for customers in Retail and Consumer goods. The goal was to improve user experience when initiating a prediction.
Old versions of Carina with multiple drop boxes. User had to manage multiple components on single screen to initiate a prediction. Other two operations - Simulate and Optimize were managed in same screen as well.
Introduced expandable header which allowed us to add option for product groups which was missing in the old version.
Created horizontal scroll bar for date range instead of two drop downs - to and from.
Created drop-down for saved product groups which was missing from old version
Designed product category selection process in multiple pages instead of multiple drop-downs in single page.
Style Guide
Created the style guide for the Carina so that text, buttons, components, images can be reused and are easy to change.
